Nepal Sindupalchowk

Nepal Sindupalchowk

Nepali coffee, primarily Arabica beans of the Bourbon and Typica varieties, has gained popularity in recent decades. Cultivated organically and sustainably at altitudes between 1000 and 1600 meters across over 40 districts in Nepal's middle hills, it stands out as a high-value cash crop with significant environmental benefits.

Farmers meticulously handpick ripe coffee cherries and process them using wet or dry methods. Wet processing involves pulping the cherries immediately after harvest, while dry processing entails sun-drying the entire fruit. Nepal's unique geographic location, beyond the traditional coffee-growing belts, contributes to the distinctive flavour, aroma, and body of its coffee.
